And our server even gave us a great tip about a chocolate shop on the road to Nashville. They really made us feel like one of the regulars this is truly what America is all about. We were very happy with all of our own selections: burger, cole slaw, Philly cheese steak and the pizza from the kids menu. Our server Nicole really went out of her way to explain everything on the menu to us as well as the history of the restaurant and she was an instant hit with our 10 year old granddaughter. It was one of the most pleasant dining experiences we've ever had. by the highway, so we stopped at this little cafe on the square in Marion IL. We were on the way from Saint Louis to Nashville and decided that we wanted to have lunch in a local place, not one of the chains. We see from the reviews that we're not the only Texans who have stopped at the Vault Café.
